I’m Jason. I design and build websites for businesses in West Michigan and beyond, with attention to the experience from first idea through launch.
The work runs from the business problem through the user journey, architecture, design, build, integrations, and measurement. Increasingly, that means directing AI-assisted implementation — which raises the standard rather than lowering it.
Outside of my day-to-day work, jasonm.dev is where I document what I’m building, experimenting with, and learning.
As building gets easier, judgment gets more valuable.
I’ve worked with different builders, workflows, teams, and technologies, and increasingly with AI-assisted implementation.
The tools change where the difficulty sits. Producing code is becoming easier, while deciding what should exist still requires context, care, and judgment.
The standard is simple: do not ship anything I cannot evaluate, explain, debug, and stand behind.
